VPN Additional Terms
Edited on: 16/02/2022
These Additional Terms govern your use of Flox VPN Services and are incorporated by reference into the Flox’s Terms of Service (these Additional Terms and the General Terms are collectively referred to as “Terms”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the same meaning as defined in General Terms.
If you have questions or concerns regarding the Terms, please contact us at [email protected].
VPN Service
Flox VPN Services are transitory digital network communications services, which enhance internet security and privacy. We do not condone any unlawful use of the Flox VPN Services. Flox VPN Services shall not be used for any criminal, illicit and illegal acts, and you accept and agree not to violate any law of any jurisdiction that you are originating from and any other applicable law. It is your responsibility to know and comprehend any and all relevant laws related to any jurisdiction or venue that concerns you, your actions, and your use of Flox VPN Services.
FloxVPN allows only one device to use a validation token during the service period.
The device each validation token is associated with can be reset once per service period.
FloxVPN allows a maximum number of simultaneous connections per account in respect to the amount of validation tokens each account holds. That includes proxy connections, and each of them counts as a separate slot.
No-logs Policy
Flox guarantees a strict no-logs policy for Flox VPN Services, meaning that the Flox VPN Service is provided by an automated process, and your activities while using it are not monitored, recorded, logged, stored, or passed to any third party. We do not store session information, used bandwidth, traffic logs, or other data. However, to ensure account security, prevent abuse, and to be able to dispute unfair chargebacks, an algorithm records their validation token, hardware identifier, operating system, device model, machine name, and timestamp of token validation.
Use of a Flox VPN Account
The Flox VPN application for any platform or operating system supported by Flox VPN can be downloaded free of charge. Users will have to purchase a paid subscription from Flox to connect to the Flox VPN Services, except in the case of a limited free trial or certain coupon offers.
You are required to create a user account to use the Services. If you choose to create a user account, you must provide some basic information, specifically: valid email address - to send the Flox VPN communication and to retrieve a lost password; payment information - we process basic billing information through our payment processing partners for payment processing and refund requests. You must maintain and update this information current, truthful, complete, and accurate. You warrant that you are authorized to provide such information. You authorize us to verify your information at any time. If it is found to be untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we retain the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your user account and your access to the Services.
Third-party Software
As part of the Flox VPN Services, we may, from time to time, include computer software supplied by third parties, which is utilized by permission of the respective licensors and/or copyright holders on the terms provided by such parties. Flox expressly disclaims any warranty or other assurance to you regarding such third-party software.
